The rules for the World Obstacle Challenge have been carefully formulated and are maintained in accordance with recommendations by the World Obstacle Technical Committee and Competitions Committee. They are recognized and accepted by the World Obstacle Executive Committee.

OBSTACLESPORTS

Each event has specific rules. Only one attempt per obstacle is allowed in competitive categories. The races and rules are specifically created to ensure fairness, good event flow, impartiality in judging as well as eliminating stoppages and back-ups at obstacles.

Courses have been designed for world-class athletes in all categories and thus a high level of proficiency is required to compete. National teams, comprising the best athletes from each country, take part in this event to ensure a robust competition between highly skilled teams. This meets the criteria established for medal events in Games and championships governed by the International Olympic Committee for athletes competing at the highest level.
